Legal & General’s new retirement housing business bolsters senior management team
Guild Living, an operator and developer of urban later living communities launched by Legal & General last month, announces that it has made four senior appointments as part of its ambitious recruitment campaign to support its growing business. As part of this growth programme, which will see the number of employees increase from 10 to 50 by the end of the year, it has appointed a Care Operations Director, Construction Director, Marketing Director and Sales Director.
Chris Bamford, who joins as Care Operations Director, has extensive experience in healthcare and the later living sector. He joins from the healthcare sector, where he has worked for both private and not-for-profit providers, operating large residential and nursing services across the UK. Bamford will be responsible for developing an integrated wellness strategy to deliver a world class service to Guild Living residents to enhance their wellbeing.
Joining as Construction Director, Mike Maxwell has a total of 29 years’ experience in the construction industry, and joins Guild Living from Lovell Partnership Ltd where he was regional operations director, looking after the delivery of contracting and redevelopment projects across London and the South East. At Guild Living, Maxwell will establish a development programme, driving efficiencies in purchase and procurement, alongside management of governance and construction.
